We used Tatum to help both our kids prepare for HSPT exams and would gladly recommend her to others. The one on one attention Tatum was able to give was extremely helpful as it allowed the time to be spent on my children’s specific areas of need. My kids did great on their exams and were admitted to both high schools where they applied. We also recently used Tatum to provide some early college counseling for my oldest child. Kids don’t always want to listen to their parents, so it was great to have a resource like Tatum. Tatum spent an evening with my daughter and me covering all kinds of important college prep things to be thinking about during high school. My daughter came out of that meeting with a clearer understanding of her options and a road map for her remaining high school years.

Tatum has been the most amazing tutor I've ever had! She prepared me for my SAT where I was confident and comfortable taking the test. She boosted not only my test taking skills but also my score. I would recommend her to everyone.

I remember being so nervous for the SATs and ACTs! It all just really overwhelmed me, to the point where it negatively affected my scores. I'm really grateful I went to Tatum for help because she understands the different ways students learn and the unique difficulties each student has, and listens to her students so that she can tailor her sessions to their needs specifically. She helped me with my scores and my confidence while taking tests which, to me, is invaluable! Thank you!

My experiences with Tatum have been beyond beneficial for me. She helped me with SAT prep and statistics. With her support, I was able to boost my SAT score 110 points in only 10 sessions and rose to the top of my stats class. She went out of her way to make time for me and catered to my specific learning style. For the first time in my life, I truly enjoyed and appreciated what I was learning. Tatum is extremely talented, patient and caring, and I would highly recommend her as a tutor!

I originally called Tatum to help improve my SAT score which reflected poorly off my high GPA and extracurriculars. I’m not going to lie, my Junior year was the most stressful year I have ever faced. Knowing my career was on the line, I was blessed to work with Tatum; not only was she a tutor, but a mentor and friend. Tatum made working on SATs out of a thick blue book on Saturdays fun, whether it was right aftnater school or at 8pm, she made working around a busy schedule possible; she was always reachable from text, email, or knocking right on her door. Tatum is so sweet, funny, and patient, which she made sure shined through all the rigorous work; no matter how much I was struggling she always made sure I understood every part before moving on.

Tatum helped me get through the worst by improving my score by over 100 points in a short amount of time. Her faith will always follow me because without her I would not have gotten to where I am now. I am so thankful for her support, patience, and passion in watching others succeed; I hope that she continues to spread her success, motivation and inspiration to others as she did to me.

As a parent, I couldn't be more than happy with the outcome that Tatum has helped with my daughter with helping her prep for the SAT and the results. She compassionately cares for your child's understanding and grasp of the materials.I have already recommended Tatum to many parents and will continue to highly recommend her.

Tutor Time Now and Tatum Hutton completely changed my life. When I first got involved with the company I was completing an online course for the class algebra 1 that I failed the previous year. Math was never a strong point of mine and I was pretty reluctant to get a tutor to help me through the course. The course was extremely difficult to me and Tatum recognized some weaknesses that I had and referred me to a psychologist who diagnosed me with a learning disorder. Tatum then helped me learn how to work with my learning disability and pretty much make it work for me. Because of her and the help she gave me I passed my online course with a B+ versus the D- I originally got in the course. Based off of that I think it's quite obvious that Tatum and her ability to understand teenagers and problems that they face on a daily basis with family, friends, and ultimately learning, makes her the best option one could possibly have for a school tutor, SAT/ACT tutor, or college consultant.

Tatum is a lifesaver; she helped me survive my junior and senior years of high school, academically and emotionally. I started out with Tatum over the summer prepping for the ACT; any question I was stuck on Tatum found a way to explain it to me. I took the ACT twice and then switched to the SAT in the beginning of my senior year. I missed the December SAT test due to a family emergency and Tatum found a solution. She advised me to call my schools to ask them if it would be possible to send in scores from the upcoming January SAT considering my situation, all of my schools had the same response…“Yes!” If Tatum hadn’t advised me to do so I wouldn’t have done it myself. She came up with the idea and left it to me to decide what to do, she made it clear that regardless of my decision she would support me in any way she could. I know I can always count on her to give me honest feedback in any scenario.

Every session with Tatum was a blast, regardless of what we were studying she always knew how to relate the subject to me and make me laugh. In all honesty, there was never a dull moment in one of our sessions. Between her drawings, explanations, and stories I always took away something valuable from those sessions. Thanks to Tatum I’m heading off to UC Davis this fall and can’t wait. THANK YOU TATUM!!!!

I just returned from my daughter’s college orientation and it seems the right time to reflect on how she got there. My daughter is a hard-working student with very good grades, but her standard test taking ability rarely reflects her abilities. She took the SAT class with a local ‘expert’ and learned all the SAT ‘tricks’, and did the prep she was asked to do. Yet, her SAT score was disappointing and she knew it would make getting into a desirable school difficult, if not impossible. We found Tatum and thought we would give it a try. From the first meeting, Tatum earned my daughter¹s trust and successfully over the next 6 weeks inspired my daughter to follow her guidance and instruction. Tatum is exceptionally personable, and truly works to understand the individual. She builds self-esteem while building ability. Under Tatum's direction, my daughter increased her SAT score by 150+ points! In 6 week, with that confidence and ‘can do’ success, my daughter is headed to the COLLEGE OF HER CHOICE to start her career. Since our experience, we have recommended Tatum to a friend to work with their son who is struggling with community college courses. They are thrilled with the results as well. Tatum is truly a gift, and I cannot give her a stronger recommendation.

Linda has been working with our son for over a year tutoring him in various subjects in High School. She is very patient and creative about finding other ways for him to understand his homework. She keeps him on task (which is not an easy task)! My son plays sports and she is very accommodating to his often changing schedule which is very important for us and we sometimes get unexpected changes thrown at us during the season. She is always on time and ready to get to work with my son, time is never wasted. She is a pleasure to work with!

Tatum tutored me in math, Latin, and English. English is my second language so I really struggled and was failing my class when my dad finally found Tatum. She totally saved my life! I don't think I would have ever graduated from high school if not for Tatum, in fact I'm quite positive I wouldn't have passed my junior year English class but Tatum helped me so much I was able to get an A-! I've never gotten an A- in English before, and I got a B in my senior English class which was really hard. Tatum also taught my twin sister in math as well as me. I didn't understand algebra or conjugation of verbs in Latin at all before getting much needed help from Tatum. She was always super patient, funny, and nice. She made every session fun and interesting no matter what subject we were working on. I am really grateful for tutoring from Tatum and I know you will be too.

Admitting that you need tutoring can often times be difficult for students, especially students who feel that they are one of the smarter kids in their grade…such as myself. I was afraid that my tutor would possibly think I was stupid which really bothered me. However, after meeting and working with Tatum for just one session, all of those fears were put to rest. Tatum was very funny and sociable, yet completely professional and knowledgeable right from the start. At first she started helping me prepare for the SAT by providing me with dozens of books and practice tests. Then she started tutoring me in AP Physics, where she took me step by step through each topic I was learning. Her meticulous attention to detail allowed me to grasp concepts that would have otherwise escaped me. Beyond this, Tatum is very personable and easy to work with which makes tutoring with her very enjoyable. If you are looking for a tutor, who is easy to work with, extremely knowledgeable, and judgment free, then look no further than Tatum.

My daughter, an 8th grade student, was struggling in school specifically with Math. After 2 failing report cards I contacted Tatum, told her of the situation and she made time for us. The 1st day she identified the gaps. After 1 month a noticeable increase in attitude and grades resulted from her instruction. After two months my daughter's grade went from a F to a A-. The results speak for themselves. My daughter is more confident, tries and does not give up anymore.

- Dathan P.

Tatum had a knack for quickly connecting and building rapport with my daughter for effective HSPT prep. It was time and money well spent. Tatum herself is brilliant and has a magical way of helping my 8th grade daughter to feel confident and smart in a math class that she struggled in.

Tatum and I mostly worked on the SAT math being that it was my weakest subject. I was not able to raise my score greatly but I was able to get a score that when combined with my critical reading and writing score, still produced a high overall score. Regardless of the SAT, after working with Tatum, I noticed that my math skills in school greatly improved. Since working with Tatum, I have become much more confident and comfortable with math and have been able to make use of the many test taking skills she taught me over the course of our sessions.

I turned to Tatum and Tutor Time Now to prepare for the MCAT after I received a score of 30 on my first attempt. Tatum was immensely helpful. She focused on my weakest areas on the exams and came up with personalized strategies for tackling those areas. Tatum didn’t just explain to me why one answer was right and the other was wrong; she also took the time to understand my own reasoning and to identify where my reasoning was problematic. Since the MCAT is the bane of every premed student’s existence and can entail grueling mental preparation, Tatum’s patience and positive energy were very encouraging for me personally and helped me persist in my studying. With her guidance, I was able to raise my score to a 35!

Tatum went beyond assisting me in just the MCAT. She gave me advice on medical school applications and helped me search for summer premedical internships in order to strengthen my application. She is an excellent mentor and desires to see her students succeed in more than just standardized exams – she wants to see her students succeed in the their long-term goals too. Her study tips, test-taking strategies, and general advice are things I will carry with me throughout my remaining schooling years in college and eventually in medical school.

Tatum helped my son prepare for an admissions test. She gathered previous test results, and assigned a few assessment quizzes. From this data, she provided an overview of areas of strength and development, and discussed his reasons for working with her. Together they made a plan to help him achieve his goals. In eight weeks of prep time, Tatum was able to help my son improve his raw score by 100 points. This translated to moving from the 5th to the 9th quantile (98%) in an area where he had struggled previously.

I think that these results are remarkable, but what was really valuable, was that my son remained engaged throughout the process, and is eager to work with Tatum again.

Tatum is an amazing tutor and person. She not only helped me with SAT prep but also with tips on how to write an essay and my math homework. I could never have scored so well on the SAT if it wasn't for her. I still use her tips to this day. Tatum not only helped me with school but also gave me the best life lessons. I have always been a motivated and successful student, but when SAT season rolled around, I was disappointed with my scores. I was frustrated by this test that I did not know how to prepare for, but as soon as I started working with Tatum, I felt much better. She met with me once a week, going over things that were especially difficult for me and giving me helpful tips. She also gave me assignments to do on my own, from reading certain strategy/review books to doing practice problems and tests. Knowing that I have a very busy schedule, she was always respectful of my time. She selected assignments specifically targeted to help strengthen my weaknesses. I never felt like I was wasting time or doing busy work with Tatum. In the end, our hard work paid off, as my final SAT score was 280 points higher than my first practice test score.

A few months later, I turned to Tatum to help me with my college application process. She helped guide me through it all, from choosing which colleges to apply to, to writing my essays and filling out my applications, to preparing for college interviews. We met several times through the process, but communicated mostly over email, sending drafts of my work back and forth, bouncing ideas off of each other. She offered her experience-backed advice, but also made it clear that all final decisions were in my hands. In the end, I was very satisfied with the applications I submitted and the schools to which I was accepted. I finally decided on UCLA, and am excited to start there next fall.

Not only is Tatum helpful and dedicated to her work, but she is a very fun and bubbly character, making meeting with her after a long day of school, sports, and homework as painless as possible. She obviously genuinely cares about the students she works with, and is always proud and excited to hear about our scores and college decisions.

Tatum worked with my daughter to help prepare her for the HSPT exam. I considered several other options that were referred by friends but in the end I am happy that we chose to work with Tatum. It's a huge plus that Tatum will come to your house. My daughter connected well with Tatum. She was thorough and did assessments at the beginning so she could determine areas of weakness and really focus on those. My daughter did well on the test and was accepted at both high schools where she applied. We would definitely recommend Tatum.

Tatum Hutton, with Tutor Time Now took control of a downward spiral and turned the direction completely around. She did this by using not only her own know-how, but by also referring other professionals whose expertise deal with organizational and executive function deficiencies. Tatum created a team, and that team created a winning record. Tatum herself was very reliable, positive, and upbeat, and inspiring, which created a sense of confidence in my son that very few other teachers had truly afforded him with regards to his academic potential. Specifically, I really loved her “on call” status, via text, email and phone call. We never had to wait until our hour with her for that week, but could send her a math problem over the internet, and within an hour, she’d have replied with a detailed picture of how to work it out. This was a real plus, and even when not needed, created a sense of calm knowing it was always at our disposal.

When I say the word “tutor”, what is the first thought that comes to mind? For many students, it’s “getting help with school” or “something boring that my parents make me do”. As a student who has known Tatum for over three years, I can honestly say that she is never boring. Whether you are solving for x in an SAT word problem or going through a revision of your personal statement, Tatum always finds a way to inject humor and life into everything. After my first college interview, I felt disappointed because I did not think the interview went as well as I would have liked, but Tatum cheered me up by telling me that someday I would have a funny story about college interviews for my grandchildren.

The first monster Tatum helped me tackle was the SAT. I came to her saying that I would be lucky just to get 2000 on the test. Specifically, SAT math was the biggest challenge for me. Before I had ever taken my first SAT, I took classes from Revolution Prep and got a 590 on the official test. A few months after, I retook it and scored a 610. After extensive reviewing and after many practice problems, my SAT math score jumped to 750, and my total score was 2110, more than 100 points over my goal! Throughout the entire process, Tatum was realistic in predicting the score I would get; even though I did not believe I could do so well, Tatum had faith in me and ultimately, she was right.  In the end, from the first time I took the SAT to the last time when Tatum tutored me, my score increased by 250 points. I could not have done it without Tatum!

Tatum has been a friend, a mentor, and most of all an inspiration to me since my sophomore year of high school. Tutoring me in chemistry, algebra, and Spanish, she inspired me to try my best in all of my subjects. In her teaching, Tatum incorporates an even balance of humor and seriousness. She includes newer methods of teaching, utilizing her iPad whenever she can, providing an interactive learning experience for her students. After a few sessions with Tatum I realized there truly is an app for everything! However, this does not limit her, if someone were to ask for a different method of teaching, I know from experience she could accommodate. In regard to college, she shattered my conception that I just wasn’t good enough for most schools. Her belief in me as a student and as a person stays with me to this day; selling myself short isn’t an option anymore. With much help from Tatum, I got accepted into a top boarding school my junior year. Although she does not tutor me anymore due to our distance from each other, we still talk through email. In helping me into my current school, her advice on giving the perfect handshake was one of the last things she taught me, and also the most valuable. Tatum has many talents and valuable insights that helped fuel my curiosity and love of learning. She is aware of her few shortcomings (dyslexia) which she uses to her advantage, making her truly unique. I am glad to have had this relationship with her and would recommend her to anyone.

It would be an understatement to say that Tatum Hutton just prepared me for the SAT, because she did more than that. From her attentiveness in hearing any of my concerns, to the constant feedback and wonderful advice she constantly sent me both in person and through email, Tatum became more than just my tutor. Tatum is a wonderful person who puts her all in everything she does, stopping at nothing to accomplish the realistic aspirations of each her students. Even with the busy schedule of my high school life, Tatum was understanding in trying to accommodate me in any way so that I could still get the daily SAT practice I needed while still being able to balance my extracurriculars and school work. I would not have been able to get as far as I did without Tatum and her care. She became my mentor as she personally helped me both with preparing for the SAT and with helping me decide my goals for life. With her help, I was able to improve my math score as she helped me combat the SAT’s tricks and decrease human error. Not only that, but her essay tips also helped improve my writing score. Alongside Tatum, I have come to see her as an angel who stepped down and helped me in my time of need. I would not have gotten as far as I have without her. Above from possessing the upmost teaching skills, Tatum stands out from others because of how much she cares for the welfare of each of her students. Tatum is the epitome of a professional teacher who builds meaningful relationships with her students. Through her constant motivation and trust in my success, Tatum has instilled confidence in me to affront the challenges of life. I am truly blessed to have met such a wonderful person, and hope she continues on inspiring others as she has done so for me.

Tatum is more than a tutor to me- she has been a mentor and great support during one of the most stressful years of my life. Tatum is really sweet and funny and makes tutoring (even math) not so boring! She works hard to go 'over the top' and it shows in her personality as well as her teaching- she never loses her patience and is always trying to make the work interesting, fun, and easily understandable. She always responded to my questions whether it was facebook, text, or email really fast. Her flexibility was so helpful - one time I had a cheerleading camp at Stanford and it was right before my SAT's; Tatum drove out to Stanford and found a place for us to meet. Another time, I was stressing over a math test and called her and she even came over to my house on her way home (even though it was 10pm) to help me calm down.

Originally my parents hired Tatum to help me with my SAT's because I have a Learning Difference and was really unhappy with my first score.  I was terrified of not getting into a good college because of my situation-- and my average SAT scores contradicted my high GPA and ambition -- I desperately wanted to increase my SAT scores, which I did by an incredible 267 points after working with Tatum!

But I got even more- I got a life-long mentor in Tatum-- she has been there for me long after our tutoring ended and I know she will be there for me always- because Tatum is a woman of her word. She taught me study skills and memorization techniques that have really helped me in college. Tatum's teaching style is very creative as well as diverse -- she helped me with many subjects-- not just the SAT. One of her most creative ideas was helping me learn new vocabulary words by forming 'cheers' to the words as soon as she found out how much I loved cheerleading.

Tatum also helped me with my college applications--especially my personal statement. I know this helped lead to me attending a top tier school, and I never thought I had a chance at getting in. Tatum believed in me, and ultimately she was right. Now I am setting my goals on being an attorney and am loving college. Tatum also wrote a great reference letter for me to help me get a scholarship. Tatum is always generous with her time and just in general -- whenever we had to study on Saturday mornings she would bring me my favorite Starbucks drink if she stopped there! She helped me edit papers via email, and when I needed help in college-- she was there via Skype or a phone call/text away. All of my hard work paid off because I am graduating from Purdue University next year and am SO excited for my future!

Tatum has worked with all three of my sons over the past three years. My youngest son first worked with Tatum on SAT and ACT prep. His junior year was academically challenging in some subjects. Tatum was able to tutor him in multiple subjects to prepare for tests and final exams. His confidence and academic performance soared. Tatum has the ability to motivate and give students the confidence, ability, and tools they need to improve in multiple areas. My son was thrilled when his SAT score rose 280 points! I know that the study skills he acquired while working with Tatum will be with him though college and beyond.

Our second son was in his third year of college and was looking for a prep course for the LSAT. His college offered one in a group setting, being away from home we thought it may be the best option. After inquiring about the LSAT with Tatum she said she has worked with other students via Skype. Perfect for my son, Tatum was flexible and could work around a college student's demanding schedule. She also helped him to overcome his anxiousness about taking the LSAT.

After graduating from college our oldest son has decided to apply to graduate school. He knew who to talk to, he had witnessed his brothers' accomplishments after working with Tatum. He is now working with Tatum on preparing for the GMAT. Again, she is flexible and schedules her time around his work schedule.

All three of our sons have completely different personalities and Tatum can attest to that! Her ability to connect with all three is truly a gift and we are fortunate to have had Tatum be a part of these important milestones.

I hired Tatum to tutor my 3 daughters and my son in almost all of their subjects, especially English and math. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who needs help, and if you are not sure just ask Tatum because I think she tutors just about anything! I've never met anyone who knew so much about so many subjects! She really is the teenage whisperer. Yet she never makes you feel like you do not know things. I don't know how she does it, but Tatum has a very humble, kind, and very giving nature. She always treat each of my children so well I wish she could have moved in with us!

Tatum really knows how to motivate kids and get them to try hard even if they do not want to study the subject, like math. She is very creative with teaching in a way that children do not even know they are learning- almost like a game. All four of my children adore Tatum, and she is the #1 reason they were all successful in high school and college. After knowing her for over 5 years, I  would recommend Tatum to anyone because she is truly amazing, very knowledgable in many subjects, and she has had the biggest impact of anyone on all of my kids in the most positive ways possible.

As I reflect on all of the progress my son has made over the past year, I am grateful for all of the support and guidance Tatum and Tutor Time Now has given to help him gain confidence in himself both as a student and a maturing young man.

My son’s progress is reflected in his grades and test scores, which were immediate in their improvement. He went from struggling with math concepts to scoring in national math competitions in the first month of working with Tatum.

While the objective measurements are certainly a key reflection of Tatum’s tutelage, I am most impressed with the rapport she cultivated with my son that enabled him to trust her with his concerns and aspirations. By taking the time to understand my son, she was able tap into the best ways to reach his mind. Tatum was able to teach him to believe in his abilities and this gain in confidence has been reflected in his overall demeanor.

I believe every child deserves to be heard and understood for who they are as that empowers them to hone their strengths and support their weaknesses. Tatum does a magnificent job at seeing the facets of children to help them understand how they learn and how to manage situations where they may have challenges. This is a direct result of her willingness to give the time needed to get to know her students as well as teach them.

I look forward to continuing to work with Tatum and Tutor Time Now in supporting my son’s growth. I feel very fortunate to have Tatum as a partner in helping my son achieve his academic goals as well as teaching life long skills that will benefit him well beyond the school years."

Tatum has had the biggest influence of any other person in my life, especially as a teenager. She helped me to achieve a perfect score on the SAT, and that lead to a full scholarship at Cornell and that lead me to attend medical school at U Penn. I honestly owe it ALL to Tatum. But Tatum is and was so much more to me than a tutor-- she is a true mentor. Tatum is always there to boost my confidence whenever I need it. She obviously cares very deeply about her students. She is personable yet professional, funny yet serious, and has a true gift of teaching.

Tatum is clearly knowledgable and capable as a teacher, but she is truly special because it is so evident how much she personally cares about her students. She goes out of her way to make the subject understandable and interesting, as well as making the environment as perfect as possible. She makes the most difficult task seem easy, and the boring topics come to life when she teaches about them.

I honestly do not know where I would be today without her dedication to my future success and gentle prodding to always perform my best. I owe Tatum something I can never repay-- I owe her for my future. If you hove the opportunity to study with Tatum, you should DO IT-- you will never regret it and you will always appreciate the impact she has on your life.

I called Tatum when I decided to reenter the work force as a 55 year old woman. I am an accountant but my computer skills were out of date, and I needed to learn Excel, Word and Powerpoint. What I needed also was a confidence builder to help me overcome my fears that I would not be up to speed in the workplace.

She has made all the difference in the world to me. She not only has taught me how to manuever in these programs but she has inspired me with her belief that I could learn them. She is a fantastic teacher, and explains things in a manner that makes them understandable. I am a very visual person, and she was capable of showing me, not just telling me.

I am now doing well at my new job but also I have the tremendous confidence that I can call Tatum if and when I get "stuck." I plan to have her help me down the line improve my skills, and assist me in even more complex applications.

I would recommend Tatum to anyone, she is so bright and capable, but also has a great deal of empathy and understanding.

My life is such that it intersects with that of Tatum's and as a result I've been able to observe Tatum in a number of teaching situations. It is my opinion that, as a teacher, Tatum is truly gifted. I've observed her instructing various ages from elementary to high school. No matter what the subject, no matter the difficulty or simplicity of the subject, she dignifies each student by being totally devoted to each moment she's working with them. I've never seen Tatum become frustrated or thwarted when working with a student  that doesn't understand the material. She genuinely believes it is her duty as a tutor to find out where the student's inability to comprehend stems from. She then tailors her teaching style to correspond to the student's manner or mode of learning. She has a resourceful way of painting word pictures to simplify more complex concepts.

I've also had the opportunity to watch Tatum interact with students in a classroom when she has brought her 'program' on tolerance and Deaf etiquette to the classroom in which I work. At all times Tatum had complete control of the classroom situation. She calmly and competently demanded respect and in return she respected each child as she interacted with them. It's a difficult task to keep the attention of eight-year-olds for any length of time--but Tatum made it look easy each time she did her presentation (yearly since I met her). When she told the students the presentation was over, they all expressed disappointment. They all found Tatum's style of teaching exciting and stimulating.

In any given session Tatum goes from being serious and calm to animated and funny. It's truly a delight for me when I am able to observe Tatum as she's tutoring. I can, without hesitation, recommend Tatum as a tutor for anyone from 4 to 100!

I chose Tatum to help me write my personal statements and resume for my law school applications. I attempted to write my personal statement on my own and found that I was hitting a writer's block and needed serious guidance. After just a few meetings, we nailed a perfect topic and she helped me focus on what was important to show through my writing. I am completely confident in the finished product and know that without her help I wouldn't have reached my goal or be nearly as satisfied with my work. I am now at one of the best law schools in the country for my specific area of interest and I am thriving. If you seek help writing any school application personal statements I strongly recommend Tatum.

There are many tutors out there to choose from and when you're looking on this site, you wonder, "Why Tatum Hutton?" I'll be happy to answer that for you. Tatum is not like the other tutors out there because she has one key characteristic about her that is absolutely vital in the tutoring business; she is understanding. When I say understanding, I mean that she is flexible, relatable, accepting, and tolerant, which truly makes an impact on the tutoring. She tutored me for the SATs and I'm the type of person to over worry and analyze so could you imagine how, for a lack of better word, freaked out I was?! Well I was...but guess who made most of the fear disappear? Tatum. She instills in you so many helpful tips and information about the SAT, or about whatever you may need tutoring for that you realize that the "big monster" was really just a little hurdle you can jump over in order to reach to the finish line. I say this whole-heartedly when I say that I recommend Tatum Hutton for your tutoring needs. Where else can you find a tutor that specifies to your own strengths and weaknesses, while exceeding expectations?

Tatum (Tutor Time Now) has been the best thing we have done to help our son. Being a "Learning Differenced" child it has always been a challenge to find someone that can work with him in a way that he can understand what is being taught. Even with resource teachers in school this has been a challenge. My son enjoys and even looks forward to the time he spends with Tatum. She is helpful, knowledgeable and caring. She just "gets" my kid and that in itself is priceless. Grades and enthusiasm is getting better. Thanks Tatum (Tutor Time Now)

I wish I had discovered Tutor Time sooner. John and Tatum were extremely helpful in guiding my son through algebra and chemistry in his senior year of high school. They tutor in very simple terms and take the time to make sure the student is clear on each concept before moving on. Their enthusiasm for my son's success was amazing. I can't thank them enough for all their support.

Tatum is the best tutor that I have ever had. She's a sweet and funny person. She worked really hard and tried her best to teach me the SAT strategies to improve my score-- a big challenge since English is my second language and I've only been in the USA for a couple of years. Tatum is really sweet and always tried to make the work interesting, fun, and easy to understand. Whenever I asked her questions, she responded very quickly by texting, Facebook or even email. After our tutoring ended, we still stay in contact with each other. She also promised that she'll help me with my application essay to college and whenever I need anything. If I get a good score on the SAT test and get into a good college, that would be thanks to Tatum. I hope that will come true. I'm so excited for my future! THANKS A LOT TATUM!!

"Tatum provided tutoring to both of my brothers, one for the SAT and the other for the LSAT. When I decided that I wanted to prepare for the GMAT, she was my first choice. I chose to prepare for the GMAT while also working 40-50 hours a week. Tatum was aware of my busy schedule and was more than happy to schedule our sessions at a time that suited me. When it came to standardized tests, I never considered myself a good test-taker. For this reason, I was feeling a bit discouraged and hesitant at the beginning, but due to Tatum's patience and her teaching style, I gradually gained confidence. Also, as a result of her teaching style, I was given the tools to approach problems that I would have never been able to solve on my own. In addition, I was able to efficiently solve the problem due to the tips that I had learned from her. This enabled me to pick up on key words or phrases that helped me to solve problems in a timely manner. Due to her patience, I could be very honest with her, too. If something did not make sense or if I found myself getting stuck, I could tell her. Tatum's guidance allowed me to make huge strides in my preparation for the GMAT, and whether you are preparing for a standardized test or need help with a particular school subject, I would highly recommend her."

I came to Tutor Time Now looking for statistics help after two other tutors failed to be of real assistance. Linda was really great, she was easy to talk to and was genuinely interested in my success. We set a clear academic goal quickly and dove right in despite the fact I was more than half way through the class term. She was very patient and could explain where I was going wrong in a very relatable manner. She really helped me understand what I was being taught and gave me confidence to do well in class. By the end of the class, my work was a full letter grade above what it had been before Linda’s help. Thank you, Linda and Tutor Time Now!

To the moms out there who need a tutor for your child: look no further. We hired Tatum last year for our 13 year-old son who was nearly failing at the end of sixth grade. He insisted he did not need a tutor. Well, he absolutely fell in love with her during their first session together. Tatum has worked patiently and tirelessly with him and he now has a B average with potential to make the honor role. He used to dread his homework, especially math, but now looks forward to it and cannot wait for Tatum to arrive. She is phenomenal with him and I cannot give a higher recommendation.

When we started my daughter’s 8th grade year she got a math teacher we were concerned was going to be difficult for her to keep up with. We immediately inquired with friends about Tutor Time Now that first week of school because we had witnessed their children’s school improvements after using Tutor Time Now’s tutoring service the previous year. As soon as we met Tatum we knew we needed to look no further. My daughter was an A student from the start so there were no alarming reasons to hire a tutor other than simply to help her maintain her good grades in math. During the course of the current school year Tatum has done MUCH more than that. In moments of homework “crisis” Tatum has numerous times come to my daughter’s rescue not only in math but also in English, science, social studies and simply in helping her organize and prioritize her studies. Tatum is not just a tutor, she is a supplemental teacher. She replaces what is sometimes missing in the teachers’ curriculum and even forecasts what is coming up before they are presented in the classroom.

Tatum is not only intelligent and kid-friendly, she is very perceptive and intuitive. Despite my daughter’s good grade’s, Tatum raised a flag that she may have a learning disability and encouraged us to inquire about 504 assistance at the school. She was right! My daughter’s teachers and school administrator’s had discouraged us in this matter because of her high GPA but when Tatum insisted, we had my daughter privately tested. We are now headed to high school and the 504 assistance has been set in place so she can begin her high school years with the support she needs. There is no doubt we will continue to have the co-teaching that Tatum provides through high school and beyond if needed! The investment is worth every penny!

We can't recommend John W. highly enough. He is a wonderful tutor and we are grateful for the help and confidence boost he has given our son. He patiently worked with our son to develop the math skills he needed to succeed in a very difficult class. We found John to be thorough and reliable and our son enjoyed working with him.  John commented many times on how much he enjoys working with kids and is devoted to helping his students. He makes himself available by phone for questions through the great homework support program, and he made many recommendations of helpful websites and books.

I very much enjoyed working with Linda. Not only is she patient and kind, but a truly caring person. She makes sure that you understand exactly what you are doing even if it takes forever to explain. She takes the most difficult concepts and turns them into something a teenager can easily grasp. All around, Linda is an amazing tutor who truly enjoys working with her students. For a person like me who dreads math, she makes it very bearable. Going from failing algebra 2 to receiving an A- in the class was a big accomplishment and I could not have done it without her help.

When it was time to start preparing for the SAT's, I knew that a group tutorial was just not going to work for my 16 year old daughter. She would probably lose concentration in the group, would dread attending, and it would be unproductive and a waste of money. Fortunately, right about the time that I was starting to read the junk mail advertisements for SAT individualized prep courses, a trusted professional told me about Tatum. I contacted Tatum immediately, and it was one of the best decisions I ever made.  Tatum has been a God-send to my daughter and to our family. My daughter has had many tutors before, and always got tired of them.  Not so with Tatum.  Tatum is just young and "cool" enough that my teenage daughter regarded her as a trusted and respected friend.  For me, even though Tatum was young and "cool", she was a mature professional who took this task seriously.Tatum is reliable, yet flexible enough to work around a teenager's busy schedule.  Tatum is a real support to kids who are struggling. She always builds up my daughter's self-esteem, telling her that she is capable of so much more than she realizes. Tatum is a real role model.

I knew that Tatum really knew her stuff when she predicted exactly how my daughter would do on the different parts of the SAT test; where she was the strongest, and where she needed the most work.  The results from that first go-round verified that Tatum was an expert at this business.

I am really grateful for the many ways that she has helped my daughter through this anxiety-ridden and intense time. It has also relieved some stress within the family because Tatum has absorbed a lot of the college prep for us.

In the beginning of the movie Mary Poppins, the Banks children write a description of their perfect nanny and lo and behold, Mary Poppins came to there rescue. That's how we feel about Tatum and Tutor Time Now! Tatum worked so well with our daughter that she was able to get into a top tier school. Tatum helped our daughter understand her learning differences and showed her how to use it to her advantage with her college essays. Our daughter increased her SAT scores by more than was ever hoped for. Tutoring was a priority for us, but not so much for our daughter, but one Tatum started working with her, her attitude changed immediately. This was certainly the BEST value for our money. I HIGHLY recommend Tutor Time Now for any student, but especially those with learning differences.

My experience was with John Wagner and he has helped me a lot with mostly my math homework. He has quickly adapted to the very difficult book the school teaches from. He has amazing knowledge in every aspect of math and has been helpful in increasing my knowledge in the areas I needed help. I have no complaints and highly recommend John.
